I'm a visual learner and I felt like the letter 

that I wrote to the game

carried a message particularly for the next generation of athletes of understanding 

the process of having injury

and then the amount of commitment it takes to make that dream come true

but then the ultimate realization 

that you can't do this forever

I've been really fortunate to love basketball 

as much as I have
