基础知识

圆与圆的位置关系

1 在同一个平面内,两个不等的圆的位置关系共有五种:外离、外切、相交、内切、内含.
圆心距:两圆圆心的距离叫做圆心距.

  2 设两圆 &#x2299;O1" role="presentation">⊙O1 与圆 &#x2299;O2" role="presentation">⊙O2 的圆心距为 O1O2=d" role="presentation">O1O2=d,半径分别为 r" role="presentation">r,R(r&lt;R)" role="presentation">R(r<R),则有

注 当两圆相切时分为两种情况:外切和内切.
 

判断两个圆位置关系的方法

1 几何法
通过判断圆心距与两个圆半径之间的关系从而确定两个圆的位置关系.

  2 代数法
设由两圆的方程组成的方程组为 {x2+y2+D1x+E1y+F1=0x2+y2+D2x+E2y+F2=0" role="presentation">{x2+y2+D1x+E1y+F1=0x2+y2+D2x+E2y+F2=0,
由此方程组得:有两组不同的实数解则两圆相交;有两组相同的实数解则两圆相切;无实数解则两圆相离.

【例】判断圆 &#x2299;O1:x2+y2=1" role="presentation">⊙O1:x2+y2=1 与 &#x2299;O2:x2+y2&#x2212;2x&#x2212;4y+1=0" role="presentation">⊙O2:x2+y2−2x−4y+1=0 的位置关系.

代数法
联立方程 {x2+y2=1x2+y2&#x2212;2x&#x2212;4y+1=0" role="presentation">{x2+y2=1x2+y2−2x−4y+1=0 得 5y2&#x2212;4y=0" role="presentation">5y2−4y=0,显然方程组有两个实数解,
故两个圆相交.
 

两圆的公共弦方程

(1) 两圆 C1&#xFF1A;x2+y2+D1x+E1y+F1=0" role="presentation">C1:x2+y2+D1x+E1y+F1=0, C2&#xFF1A;x2+y2+D2x+E2y+F2=0" role="presentation">C2:x2+y2+D2x+E2y+F2=0 相交,交点为 A" role="presentation">A,B" role="presentation">B,
则线段 AB" role="presentation">AB 为两圆的公共弦;

(2) 若两圆 C1&#xFF1A;x2+y2+D1x+E1y+F1=0" role="presentation">C1:x2+y2+D1x+E1y+F1=0, C2&#xFF1A;x2+y2+D2x+E2y+F2=0" role="presentation">C2:x2+y2+D2x+E2y+F2=0 相交于 A" role="presentation">A,B" role="presentation">B 两点,

【例】若圆 x2+y2=1" role="presentation">x2+y2=1 与 x2+y2+2x&#x2212;2y=0" role="presentation">x2+y2+2x−2y=0 相交于 A" role="presentation">A,B" role="presentation">B 两点,求直线 AB" role="presentation">AB 的方程.

解析 两圆相减: x2+y2+2x&#x2212;2y&#x2212;(x2+y2)=0&#x2212;1" role="presentation">x2+y2+2x−2y−(x2+y2)=0−1,化简得 2x&#x2212;2y+1=0" role="presentation">2x−2y+1=0,
即直线 AB" role="presentation">AB 的方程为 2x&#x2212;2y+1=0" role="presentation">2x−2y+1=0.
 

基本方法

【题型1】两圆的位置关系

【典题 1】 已知圆 C1:x2+y2&#x2212;2ax&#x2212;2y+a2&#x2212;15=0" role="presentation">C1:x2+y2−2ax−2y+a2−15=0,圆 C2:x2+y2&#x2212;4ax&#x2212;2y+4a2=0(a&gt;0)" role="presentation">C2:x2+y2−4ax−2y+4a2=0(a>0).试求 a" role="presentation">a 为何值时两圆 C1" role="presentation">C1,C2" role="presentation">C2 的位置关系为:

【题型2】两圆公共弦问题

  (1) 求两圆公共弦所在直线的方程;
  (2) 求经过两圆交点且圆心在直线 x&#x2212;y&#x2212;4=0" role="presentation">x−y−4=0 上的圆的方程.
解析 (1) 设两圆交点为 A(x1,y1)" role="presentation">A(x1,y1),B(x2,y2)" role="presentation">B(x2,y2),
